I build my own gaming rigs but that's not always possible for many so giving gamers options that can be taken out of a box and used is a valuable option. Some don't have time others have no training or knowledge to build a rig. I'd rather move new gamers off consoles and into pc gaming than be smug and rattle off how I'm to cool for school and they should just build their own. Pre built and low cost gaming pc's will help recruit new blood into the pc gaming world.

DEADTIMEI completely agree with you. Another thing to realize is that at entry level prices, some of the pre-builts are not far off in terms of quality when compared to similarly priced self-builds.
