What makes this better/more efficient than using the Silhouette Cameo to cut your fabric?

MarkThe cameo cuts one at a time while this cuts six to eight. This does not have computer availability though. Karen

MarkThe Go! Cutter is a great tool for cutting lots of fabric quickly and accurately. You have a dye cutter, which is a foam board and blades. Up to six layers of fabric sits on top of the dye with a cover sheet on top of that. This is rolled through two rollers kind of like the old fashioned washing machines would squeeze water out of fabric. You crank it by hand. Perfect cuts every time. No electricity. Great for quilters. I ordered the Cameo, but also need this tool because the Cameo won't be effective for mass piece cutting of fabric. Hope this description helps. Hope we get more votes for this!

MollyIs the Sizzix Big Shot Pro a comparable machine to the AccuQuilt? My guess is since it's made for paper/embossing and quilting it's not as good as a stand-alone fabric cutting machine, is that fair?

MarkAccuquilt dies will work in a Sizzix Big Shot from what I've read. I love my Go! cutter though especially for cutting strips and squares.

MarkThe Big Shot Pro will cut fabric as well, but I think that their die plates might be a hair thinner than those of the Accuquilt. I would check to see for sure if the two types of dies are interchangeable before trying to shove an Accuquilt die into a Big Shot Pro.
