I believe a "die" is required for every single shape you cut with a Sissix machine. I looked at them before and didn't want to have to invest that much money into one hobby. The Silhouette Cameo I just bought will do all the shape cutting I need without having to purchase dies that would also require storage space. The AccuQuilt is fabric only. It is time consuming to cut quilt pieces. You need SO many pieces and getting accurate cuts is important. The AccuQuilt is a Quilter's dream. Cutting is no fun.
