I think this should probably wait until most people will have received their shipments and actually tried the things out.

cormacrelfI'm hoping we get a price point low enough where it wouldn't matter if people like them or not.

cormacrelfthe monoprice tips are uncomfortable and the seal is not good (one-size-fits-NOBODY) The Comply T400 are amongst the best tips you can possibly get for them.
Another option is the Sony Hybrid tips , which are ideal for those who don't like foam tips, or if unsure about the correct size for the Comply ones. But be warned !! It will not be easy to fit them into the earbuds (but is possible and works great once you get them on).

LQDForceNote that the Monoprice headphones used to only come with one tip size but they now come with three. Are you referring to the old ones that were terrible for most users, or are you saying the three they come with now are *still* terrible for most users? (I'm not doubting putting fancier tips on them will improve them, I'm just trying to gauge how much they'll actually be needed by most people.)

evilspoonsThey do come with extra tips, a pair of each size (S,M.L) but they really suck and should be replaced first thing.
The Comply tips are expensive, but if you're looking for replacement tips (why else would you be voting on this drop anyway?) then know that sound quality and comfort are night and day compared to the stock ones.
Let's put it this way - the Monoprice earbuds offer great value for the money as-is. But to reach their full potential one must replace the tips with Comply. Only then would you achieve true awesomeness ;)
