I'm looking into this, we may be able to source an alternative to Wicked Lasers that looks very similar in form factor.
Any laser listed on Massdrop will have to meet US import requirements, which does mean that we cannot exceed 5 mW versions.
Please do not expect us to list a 2000 mW laser. They are both illegal and highly dangerous, since you can incur serious eye damage just by looking at the dot on a wall. This is makes it a significant threat both for the operator of the laser as well as people unfortunate enough to be near an amateur laser operator.
If I am unable to get a lock on a really cool looking laser pointer that has 5mW output by the end of the month, I am going to close this poll.

AndrewLekashmanCan you cite where it actually states that anything over 5mw is illegal to own in the US? After spending the past hour trying to locate said regulation, I've yet to see where it is in fact law, the assumption that over 5mw is against the law is quite prevalent, but I'm not seeing any statue that has in fact been pasted into law.

The short version is - Lasers are fine to be over 5 mW as long as they aren't "Laser Pointers". These clearly are, and since it's highly unlikely that this group is going to be happy with a 5 mW laser, I'm actually going to close this poll.
