Added two Apica notebooks to the mix. If we can get a hold of a Japanese store or Apica directly, we may be able to seriously undercut the prices mentioned here. I've seen these on Rakuten for like $1.20 each. Would love to get Apicas into the country more. [Local Japanese markets may have them as well.] There are also blank versions with excellent paper that don't have the well-known Apica covers. I hope this doesn't derail your poll here- I've been seriously thinking of throwing up a similar poll. Another option may also be Clairfontaine's cloth-bound or staple bound books, which are similar in size and opening. They also take fountain pen ink very well.
Apicas are easily folded and placed in the back-pocket, slip into a computer bag with little room, or smaller ones can even slide in the cover of hard-back books without too much worry. Paper is thin, but no feathering and little show-through with most inks.
