Added Tsubame A5 as another Japanese notebook choice. Several USA retailers are now carrying them mostly 30 or 40 sheets (that's 60 or 80 pages). Japanese stores have more choices: 60, 80, or 100 sheets. All are sewn binding with luscious paper for any type of writing media. Sharp lines, very little feathering or show through with fountain pens. Very similar wear and tear characteristics as the Apica but with different paper. Slightly thicker than the Apica with a "laid" pattern.
