I have a letterform and love it! Works with sharpies, staedtler correctable pens, dry/wet erase pens. I haven't left the sharpie marks on for long--takes only a small amount of more pressure to wipe off the sharpie as compared to the other pens. I've been using a dry cloth to wipe off the writing with no smears so far. I imagine water or a water/alcohol mix will take care of the most stubborn inks.
Recent update, 04.25.2015: After some heavy use, I'll caution against using sharpies with the letterform notebook. The ink can be removed with straight isopropal alcohol, but it takes some effort and it may leave a stain if left on too long. However, wet/dry erase markers are still very easy to remove.
