Friends! This is not a good deal. There are countless kits like this out there - all have different branding, but are nevertheless effectively identical. No joke - I just happen to have mine with me at the office today to fix some hardware that crapped out yesterday.
I got mine on Amazon for $21.99 on May 13th this year. As I type this, I am looking at the product on Amazon reduced down to $12.99:

Don't get my wrong - I love my kit. Quality is good, all the bits are magnetic, driver handle is easy to use, extension is flexible and works well. There are some minor differences here and there, but nothing to justify spending $27 more. At $12.99, I'm going to go ahead and grab another one or two kits on Amazon for use as gifts. Best of luck to you all in whatever choice you make.

user73While they are similar, they are not the exact same kits. For starters and the biggest difference is your kit has a plastic/rubberized bit driver. The kit we are offering has a steel driver. There are other differences as well if you look closely. For some those differences will not matter and I actually could have offered the Massdrop community the Exact kit as yours for around that price. I just figured that the majority of the Massdrop community would appreciate the higher quality components.

Tex-ArozziOut of curiosity then why not offer something of an iFixit kit level as I have yet to see one of these kits match them on quality.

Tex-ArozziI'll hold out for the ifixit then. Premium price for premium equipment and all that.
