For those wanting RCA cables in about 6 inch or 0.5m, I'm using a Neotech NEI-3004 cable. They should be in the ball park range of the PYST cables that Schiit is distributing. I would recommend the Neotech over the PYST due to construction quality or the termination and also the wire insulation.
For those in Australia (like me), the Neotech's are hard to find as there are no official Neotech distributors here.

SeanHowHave you been able to find any noticeable difference in sound quality between RCA cables? Do you buy RCA cables based on sound quality (if there is a difference), aesthetics, or build quality?

SeanHowThose cables are around $30-40CDN, possibly more. The PYST cables were around $30CDN shipped.

RigJuiceTurboThere is a lot of debate as to whether or not expensive cables = increased (or notably increased) quality.
Some use objective measurements to show they increase, while others point to behavioural economics to show that expectations can alter our experience - http://www.nytimes.com/2006/12/12/health/12beer.html?_r=0

HelikaonThank you so much, Helikaon. Do you know if they ship to Australia? I think even they do, the postage cost will be quite a bit judging by the weight of the wires tho...
Does anyone know if there is any good local shops for good cheap cables for DIY?

HelikaonThanks for posting these links, Helikaon. I've been looking for a specific type of connector to use with my Q701s and V-Moda BoomPro mic for gaming, but fear it doesn't actually exist! So I'm going to try and make my own (basically, a female mini XLR to female 1/8" stereo).
Would anyone have any links to decent advice/tutorials for someone trying this for the first time?
