This pen pouch feels and looks cheaply made. I would advise against it, I highly regret purchasing this item.

Yes, I don't understand why it is called a pen pouch if it can barely hold pens

It is so difficult to take out your own and put it back in the inside measurements are the exact size of a pen no wiggle room.

WindowsLive213I do not own this Allegory Leather Pen Pouch, but by plotting the two sizes and observing what is shown of the leather in the photos, my gut feeling tells me this leather is fairly unyielding. Looks like there'll be a struggle, especially when I want an item that is near the bottom.
Two pieces of (what look like) thick leather, bound near the edges by heavy thread. It just sounds like a tight leather sandwich. No wiggle room, indeed...for $28.00, all in. I have had great success with finding different pen & pencoil pouches at Jetpens. They offer a nice variety of heavy fabrics and vinyl holders with interior pockets, divisions, zippers for outside pockets, and SIDE GUSSETS! Many open very wide so you can get your hand inside to dig around for that one particular pen out of 20. If you really want a pouch for your pens and pencils, erasers, refills, and maybe even calculators, give these guys a look.
