Um, Israel may protect olive trees but Bethlehem is in Palestine and settlers have an unfortunate habit of cutting down olive groves to drive out their neighbors and clear land to build fortified "suburbs". There are new settlements going up around Bethlehem regularly. Where exactly is this wood coming from and whom exactly are you buying it from?

Ben24That's not what he's getting at, he's saying that it's unclear whether the wood is actually sourced from sustainable olive groves in Israel, or rather (and more likely) sourced from trees uprooted in illegal settlement efforts in Bethlehem. But the wood is probably pretty old and does indeed look sweet
