DeanAndagI live in Vancouver BC too. Mines came on 10/17. The mailman didn't even bother with ringing the doorbell, he just left a note and told me me to pick it up at the nearest postal office. I was also hit with handing and tax, maybe because I ordered two of them. Sad life.

Quality is definitely an upgrade from the old Zalman mic. Cable is a bit stiff but that's to be expected. It'll eventually straighten out. My one gripe is my "mute" switch is flipped backwards. The "mute" switch must be moved to the side with the crossed out mic (the "mute position") for me to record. When the "mute" switch is moved to the side, its actually muted......
Not sure if anyone has had this problem or if I'm comprehending the unbelievably simple function.....
