Started out disappointed, it really grew on me...
{latest} I've really changed my mind on this one now that I've given it a chance. I left my original review intact below. Fact of the matter is that when I am in "real" darkness I have absolutely no trouble seeing what time it is with this watch, so yes - this was a matter of not knowing what to expect with a Tritium watch. And yes, it's thick (still a bit thicker than I think it needed to be) and heavy, but it's SOLID too, which is a plus. Finally "solved" the clasp, but it took a lot of fine adjustments to the links to get it just right. If I could, i'd probably give it 3.5 stars - worth the price, neat to have and wear, only downsides are it's a bit too thick and the non-Tritium lume on the tachymeter needs to be a lot better. But a good watch overall and I'm happier with it now. {original} No issues with Drop itself, it's the watch - I went for the 44mm black face model. This is the first Tritium watch I've gotten (always wanted one), so perhaps my expectations were too high, but the fact is the luminescence is REALLY dim - as in you can barely make it out in a completely dark room dim - if these are T100 gas tubes, I can't imagine how dark T25s would be. I was curious about the "in the dark" photo on this one that makes it look quite bright (especially since the blue lume on the bezel and crown isn't very good either - put it under a lightbulb for a minute and it's still a LOT dimmer than my Orient Mako II's lume), and I think they took the photo of it illuminated with a blacklight flashlight, because when I did that, then (and only then) did it look anywhere near the photo. Add to that the fact the case is REALLY (unnecessarily) thick and very heavy, and the clasp is uncomfortable - well, just disappointed. It's not all bad - the watch face is attractive and low key, and I really like the crystal on it, which seamlessly blends into the tachymeter as well, and 200m water resistance is impressive. But that's not enough to make up for the shortcomings.

TheNoidI bought a blue Hercules at Drop to add from the other two I have bought directly from Aragon. Through 12+years, I have purchased ten tritium tube watches, yes ten, not to mention many non tritium, from this Aragon company, and the former(Android). All to this day work exceptional to say the least. The tritium is still highly effective to those of many years. I have carried several other more expensive watches with super luminous hands and markers. However, none can hold a candle to these particular tritium tubes for CONTINUAL readability in darkness.
