Anyone having trouble with the tracking number, I found that FedEx is my carrier and not UPS (although maybe they swap halfway in?) It's worth trying if you're getting the error in the UPS Tracking number to just try the number in FedEx.

ZiexeThanks, I was wondering that myself. FedEx got my desk and en route.

ZiexeI discovered that, as well. I contacted Massdrop support about it so that hopefully they'll update everybody's courier since there were a solid amount of these bought and probably a handful of customers confused as to why something that shipped 3-4 days ago isn't showing up as a valid tracking number on UPS.
Protip: If you Google a tracking number (typically I'll highlight it, right click in Chrome, search with Google), Google automatically recognizes the unique format of each courier's tracking numbers and they give you the appropriate forwarding link to check your tracking number. I've found this to be one of those tiny little features that we all stumble upon that is incredibly useful. In fact, I highlight and search all the time when I don't recognize proper nouns and such.
Anyway, mine arrives on Monday. Can't wait!
Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about (modified the number for my privacy):

ZiexeEastiest way to tell is every UPS Tracking number typically starts with a 1Z if it is in the USA

Hayden2121Yeah for sure, I've noticed that pattern as well. But you never know if they have special codes (at least I don't know), so rather than use trial and error since I've seen Fedex numbers look pretty different before I used that. The main reason I use it though is if I get a plain-text tracking number from someone, or even a vendor (craft vapery, an ecig vape subscription service & store sends plain-text tracking numbers for example, so I just highlight it rather than copy, visit site, click through country selection, paste, and enter). I mean it's a tiny little feature like I mentioned, but I appreciate the small features that are useful. Thanks for the info, though!

Hayden2121Interesting! I'll have to remember that next time I get a number. Although, for me, using google or bing to just enter the number in gives me the service by default, like GaleForce mentioned. That's always how I've always found my shipment.
Because Massdrop said it would probably not work until 2 days after, I thought maybe that they'd switch to UPS after those 2 days somewhere in the shipping. Though, I know now that's not true and your tracking number tip only confirms my suspicion confirming FedEx is the only carrier, and that it won't as it was an automatic email error.
