Very heavy and over engineered. Basically indestructible. You can actually raise it up about 4-5 inches above normal position. The mouse pad covering the table is nice, but will be tricky to keep clean.

CogsI have found that generally light soapy water cleans it very easily. For tough spots you can use a Clorox wipe, that works really well. Lastly, if its super dirty just throw it in the washer on the gentle cycle. Its tough and machine washable.
