NateMPLSTrue. No blade length in the details, but it does state in the description that it’s 3.8in. The one thing that I’m most curious about is the weight, which is nowhere to be found. I’m guessing that it’s heavy enough to be a pretty significant turnoff for a lot of people and that’s why it’s not listed. A titanium framelock of that size with a 3.8in/0.15in thick blade stock has got to be an easy 5.5-6.5oz. Right...?
NateMPLSSeems to be a pretty new knife and my google-fu wasn't able to find it listed anywhere else that didn't have even fewer specs.
@MCH_87 Yeah, that's what I'm curious about too. I'm betting no less than 6.5 oz.
MCH_87Incorrect. It states that the blade has a THICKNESS of 3.8MM. According to Artisan's website, the blade is 3.54 inches. Even their site doesnt list the weight, however. Pretty terrible all of this info isnt readily available right here.
MCH_87A.C. Is off the hook right now. Just got the proponent and she’s comfortable with a deep carry... weighing in at fine 10.9Oz , I don’t even notice most of the time.
(Edited - last part rhymed too much...)
whatever works for you etc... I agree that the weight should be listed and does matter. Proponent is by far the heaviest I own; just carries really well for me.
SerJacopoI'm glad that their quality is good, but it doesn't matter if you don't know how big or how heavy the knife is. I doubt the Mastiff is as heavy, but I personally would not carry a folding knife that weighs 11 ounces.
