Adding a bit of lighting to your monitor setup can really raise the bar on your aesthetics, and the ASUS ALB01 ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar is just the bar for the job. Very bright and helps a ton but a little hard to get perfectly leveled on the monitor...
This year I went through double cataract surgeries. I spend a LOT of time at my desk and found I had much more eye strain at night than I used to before the surgeries. I asked around and was told to look at getting a light bar. I know there are a few different brands, but I know both ASUS and Drop very well at this point and figured it'd be a good idea to get one both from brands I know, and get rewards points for it too lmao
Short and simple, it's very nice, and works very well. The RGB backlighting isn't very bright in my opinion, but the front light gets very bright, and the temperature adjustment helps dial things in nicely. That said though, changing the backlight RGB requires and additional app on your PC to do, which isn't fantastic, but it's not horrible. The main issue I have, and quite honestly the only REAL issue outside of small nitpicks, is that it's just incredibly difficult to get the bar to sit level to the monitor for some reason. No matter how I try to adjust it, it always looks like it's sitting at a bit of a slant, and it's just very distracting to me. (First picture to show angle) Again, small nitpick, and everything else works fine, but that one thing is a little hard to get over personally. I'll keep tinkering with positions and see if there's an easy fix, but just be aware it's a thing to keep in mind.
