I recently got this headset, and wow is it good. My only issue is when certain people talk on discord, I can hear a really high pitched ringing. I fiddled with a bunch of settings, computer audio and discord, and nothing seems to solve the issue. It is primarily if not all in my right ear only. Is there something wrong with my headset, or was that ringing always there I can just hear it cause the headset is THAT good? I haven't had any issues with any other application, though I have yet to test if I can hear the ringing on a different version of discord, say on my xbox instead of my pc. Only other issue I've had is occasional static, but I can't tell if it's from the headset or the show/game/etc.

Speaking of TH-900s,
> As all that power requires some real juice,
Hardly the reason for the high impedance. Beyerdynamic's T1, famously, develops a magnetic flux density of 1 Tesla. TH-900s develop 1.5 Tesla with a impedance of 25 Ohms. High impedance was, as we should all know, a technique used by headphone manufacturers to improve SNR; unable to get a really black background, they increased impedance and amplified the signal (and, hopefully, not the noise.) New manufacturing techniques have made this an unnecessary technique, but it remains an effective one.
PS: Incidentally, if you like nice watches as well as nice headphones, you may be interested to know that Rolex's famous Milgauss watch - known for magnetic resistance - is rated for fields up to 1,000 Gauss - hence the name. 1,000 Gauss is equal to 1 Tesla - so you probably shouldn't leave any mechanical watch with a pair of active T1s, and DEFINITELY not a pair of TH-900s.
