I currently have them running in my living room 5.1 stereo system, where they are doing a very nice job filling out the mid range and bass as front speakers. They would be much better served with a dedicated amplifier, and I hope to do them better justice in the future.
Rowdy2026I mean an amplifier dedicated to running these speakers, as opposed to being part of a 5.1 amplifier that treats them as two of 5 bookshelf speakers.
aschaeferlol...what?
All amplifiers are dedicated to running speakers. Why do you assume they aren’t based on channel output?
An 11 channel amplifier can still dedicates as much to these speakers in stereo (or surround) as much as any two channel amplifier...most of the time even more. I have a Sony 7.2 receiver in the spare room that ‘supposedly’ puts our 100watt per channel. It doesn’t matter what the speakers are or how many are plugged in to it.
