I have Automatic Generation 1 and have to say I am sorely disappointed. It pairs sporadically and therefore doesn't track as it should, I am using an iPhone 6s+. I finally got so fed up I decided to return it and I was 1 day late on the return policy.

DonPerreaultMy gen 1 doesn't even pair anymore, it's completely useless. Do not count on Automatic to support your purchase long term

jdc0589I had similar experience with Gen 1 adapter with the earlier version of the firmware when I first started using Automatic almost 2 years ago.
I feel both the device and the apps are stable enough at this point that I don't have problems with Bluetooth connectivity in any of my 3 cars.
