Unfortunately mine was not without faults. The first issue was pretty minor, it was missing one of the handle screws. I was able to find a replacement in my bin o fasteners, but still not great. The second issue is way more substantial. The grind is not even. It is slightly under 20 degrees on one side and slightly over 20 degrees on the other, and that is both annoying from a qc standpoint, as well as from a sharpening standpoint.
Overall, if mine is an anomaly, and most of them have even grinds and all of their fasteners, I recommend it. Otherwise, you might want to hold off. I am going to have to get mine re-ground which is obnoxious to say the least.
Update: I cannot get this knife to take an edge. I think the heat treat (at the edge at least) must be bad. I ran my grampus (also bestech and same steel) through the same sharpening process and it took a razor edge no problem. I don't have a convenient microscope to help diagnose, but it feels like it could be chipping.
