I have a BNR1-V2, but my computer wont register the device, VIAL cannot see the device.
I have a second BNR1-V2, and again same thing. So I am guessing its my computer. Are there any specific setup oddities or have I been sent two defective items?? Unlikely I would think. I am running Windows 11 Pro, tried on USB 2.1, USB 3.1, USB-C
Cardboard_SwordIts finally working, but no idea why. I was getting Unable to USB read descriptor errors after a while, then it registered properly. Not a great experience.
I was talking about BNR1 R2, however it's been recently clarified by the vendor
BNR1 R2
rotate / press / rotate when pressed
BNR1-V2 https://drop.com/buy/binepad-bnr1-v2-rotary-encoder-knobThere was no mention about click in Drop's and vendor's descriptions, however it's been confirmed in reply from @binepadhttps://drop.com/talk/129908/is-the-dial-clickable/2934863Now there are diagrams added on the vendor's product pages, which might suggest that the foam dampens the pressing function, not the rotary encoder. V2 and R2 look similar in them, V2 having aluminum knob cover, R2 having a dent, full alu cover and a screw? This makes Drop's V2 offer remarkably interesting.
The new KN01's description includes the click function explicitly.
It looks sleek, but it costs $25 more than Drop's V2.
