Pprevious customers: does the hat has the amount of loft that can be expected by looking at the pictures or are the hots in the pictures showing a flattering amount of loft?

MinosLooks awesome and I get lots of compliments (I found this unexpected). It is pretty thin (ie, yes, pic a little "flattering")....you wouldn't be able to find it in a large pocket with a glove on. That being said, I'm from FL and this keeps me warm in CO...and until you start getting HOT, you'll forget it's on (breatheable).
Elastic is weak, so moves under my shell....but nice when not windy b/c again, you forget it's there.
