Just came to say that this is a great kettle. I didn't participate in this drop; I bought one about a year ago, and love it. Happy to answer questions. One tip: For the one I bought (and the one I bought someone else as a gift), I found that pushing in the adjustable tabs inwards towards the center of the lid helped with getting the lid on and off more easily, without sacrificing safety. I adjusted them gradually until I was happy with the result, and not further.
