I agree. I was just asking myself the same question. The description includes “with speaker pole outputs” so there is definitely provision for speakers. It describes the output as 20 watts per channel, which is a little higher than most headphones would comfortably accept 🥴. There is no mention of a headphone output, so why is it called a headphone amplifier?
Probably because its value as an amplifier for speakers is minimal - mostly for folks with speakers that have high sensitivity who are looking for low wattage amps with minimal control and options.
Looseleaf52Yeah, but it has no output port for headphones, the only outputs are the speaker terminals which most people won't be able to use for headphones.
Looseleaf5220W per channel is a LOT of power in a "near field" listening space and there are a LOT of actual class "A" amps pushing 7 watts as a loud speaker AMP
even factory CAR audio is often in the 20 to 30 WATT range
