On a quick glance, this has styling cues that look so similar to one of those red and black Paterson or Arista film processing tanks, that for the longest time I though this had something to do with photography.

I have a few of those still and even more of the older stainless tanks. Just can't bring myself to throw them away.

I guess it's something like records and turntables - it was a technology slated to die out.
But analog has an organic, appealing quality that can't currently be replicated by digital, and records and turntables have seen a resurgence in recent years.
I hope there will always be a market for film! And coffee!
