I have to say next time I will just pay the higher price and pay for shipping, it's been a week since it shipped and it hasn't updated since the 16 very dissapointed in shipping time :/

Djaggieswifeusps has been very very slow lately and some of my packages have been taking a week with little to NO tracking updates. I dont think it is the fault of massdrop

kimmyskThanks Kimmy! And also we learned our lesson, we'll be shipping these out via UPS in the future (domestically. Internationals still go through USPS or UPSMI because it's a fraction of the cost). Usually USPS is pretty good with our smaller parcels but I think since these are big, heavy, and bulky, they're treating these more slowly (since there's no guaranteed delivery date via USPS).

MarkI have no clue where my product is, and USPS refuses to speak with me about it until Jan. 28. If I order from Massdrop again, can I come by the Irvine office and just pick up the merchandise myself?

ArdythMy has the same status since the 16th (Bell Gardens facility) however, it did give me EDA of the 21st which is today so we'll see if I get it today. In my case I would certainly take advantage of this offer again. And I also want to note that USPS has been extremely slow and problematic for me so it's no surprise. I live in the Houston, TX area and have had numerous issues with them. Anywho, I'm super excited about the cameo still!!

MarkPlease contact me. I spoke with a supervisor at the US Post Office today who explained that my package has NOT been received by them, and is still in your warehouse.

ArdythArdyth: respectfully, my experience with USPS (And USPS supervisors) is that they don't know what they're talking about.
All of the boxes were loaded at the same time, they were all put into the same truck. As per my earlier update (scroll back a page to see it), USPS' system is very slow and clunky (moreso with large boxes it seems) and isn't updating properly. I posted two screenshots contrasting the tracking results of two Cameos sent to two people in this exact buy. The one in LA showed "Electronic Shipping Information Received" for 6 days, before finally updating at the LA post office and then showing up at their door the next day. The second one that went to Fort-Worth Texas updated every day or two with each stop it made along the way (the way tracking is SUPPOSED to work).
We've previously shipped smaller parcels through USPS and have not had an experience nearly as atrocious as this one. Next time we run the Silhouette, we'll certainly ship it via UPS which has more reliable tracking service (and is actually less expensive, on average).
Everyone will absolutely get their Cameos as ordered, I guarantee that. We will ship you another kit if the domestic tracking doesn't update in a reasonable amount of time.

MarkI appreciate your response. The shipping status has been "electronic shipping info received" for ten days, and that is a reasonable amount of time. I don't mind driving to Irvine to pick up my product.

ArdythAs of my last post, there were 13 that were stuck in "pre-shipment". I just checked right now and there are now 3 orders (yours included) with this status.
I have a few units left over on the warehouse, I'm going to have one sent to you via UPS ground tomorrow. I'll also email you with a UPS prepaid shipping label. You're going to get 2 Cameo's (the slow USPS one, and the new UPS one). You'll need to ship one back to us.
The other two people with "pre-shipment" status stuck, let me know if you want me to do the same thing.
I think it's 50/50 whether the old USPS or new UPS package reaches you first, but at least there's a little more certainty.

ArdythMurphy's law. Your USPS tracking now shows an update. your UPS delivery that I sent out last night is out for delivery right now. Haven't had a chance to send you the label yet, will get to that later. The other two are still showing 'pre-shipment', thanks for the patience guys.
