Campfire Audio is already known for painstakingly detailed tuning and precise engineering, and the Supermoon IEM is poised to send that reputation (and that detail) to the moon—courtesy of Campfire’s first-ever full-range 14-millimeter planar magnetic driver inside each earphone. This impressive driver provides depth, power, and detail all in a compact space; with richness and smoothness tuned in by the engineers at Campfire to balance a bolstered low end with crisp detail on the high end of the spectrum. The enclosure has been precisely 3D-printed into what Campfire is calling an “engine block” design that positions the new planar magnetic driver perfectly into your ear canal for impressive isolation and just-right soundstaging. The Supermoon ships with a unique mesh carrying case, a selection of eartips (including Campfire’s marshmallow tips), a precision cleaning tool, and the high-end Time Stream Cable.
Attention to detail: it’s a quality that defines most audiophile listeners. At Campfire Audio, it defines the audiophile builders, too. Founded by Ken Ball—owner and founder of cable- and DAC-manufacturer Audio Line Out—Campfire Audio creates innovative earphones with patented technologies and world-class performance. Powered by a small team of highly skilled craftspeople, the brand continuously experiments with materials and techniques to push the boundaries of the listening experience. Based in Portland, Oregon, the Campfire Audio team designs and assembles everything by hand. Each earphone is the culmination of countless iterations, hours of listening, and rigorous performance testing. It’s an audiophile-approved standard of quality—with results that sound the part.
