That's discouraging ;-(
I can't say that its surprising though. Our former favorite place to get decent prices on quality merchandise propelled by the people who actually used the site hasn't been nearly the same since Massdrop changed ownership (overnight) and out went any attempt at having almost any customer service. Shame, that was a hallmark of the former team.
Part of the change was lopping off the name (the 'Mass' part. Us, in other words) and a new crummy logo that literally cut the corner off of it. We should have taken that for the warning that it was.
WE made them too successful and the OGs took the $$ and ran. We ought to have known what was in 'store' for us right then, but no, many of us were willing to give Drop the benefit of the doubt, but then they 'Drop'-ped the whole watch platform. Its been all downhill from there. Sad to say, it hasn't gotten any better, worse, if anything.
Sorry if this sounds a bit like a eulogy, but I'm afraid that it could be. I've read so many instances of CS fails that cost former MD customers literally hundreds. I'm thrilled for you that you were able to find the workaround, which IMO is the only 'safe' way to buy from this site now ;-(
I miss the old guys, great customer service is the key to repeat customers and I think its the only way to run a retail, middle-tail (lol) and wholesale concern. But what do I know? My experience was health care in general and map reading/helicopter dispatching and making preparations for the trauma center, particularly. No sales or business experience, but lots of experience buying shit. I go back to the retailers who have good CS, when I'll invariably need it.

If I use an Effect Audio balanced cable and connector with these and my ibasso dx300 player, will I have a full balanced audio result?

Yes. However don't expect it to do anything.
IEMs outside of extremely rare ultra high end (think 2000$ or higher) options don't need balanced and it's not going to make a lick of difference except eat power faster.
