A brief reflection and look at how far our community has come since joining. I’ve been in the mechanical keyboard hobby for a very long time. It started as a high school student’s search for a keyboard for writing novels back in the 2008-2009 school year. I thought I wanted to be an author and I felt I needed a keyboard that I could sit down to at my desk and just write. After researching, joining forums, and saving money, I made my first purchase in the hobby, a blank black Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional 2. I still own this keyboard and while it is heavily modded now, it remains one of my all-time favorites. My HHKB Pro2 with MitchCapped Accents Many people would have stopped there, but keyboards became a hobby. I enjoyed learning about them, and early on, I enjoyed hunting for them in thrift shops. I would dig through bins at Goodwill and Salvation Army while popping keycaps off with paperclips looking for mechanical switches. I searched for a birthday Model M...

Attemting to take better pictures and submitting tickets backandforth for almost 5 hours leads me to think... it might just be better for MD to collect the keycaps and perhaps research this by themselves instead of me stressfully trying to get some actual answers...;; (because I don't enjoy waiting for a full year+long shipping time to find out my keycaps are defective...and then spending another half a day + (3days) trying to get response from support...then probably even longer time for replacement(sigh;; when....).
I wanted to share the pain of waiting and anger (I am just kidding TT.TT) Some of the pictures I sent them initially. (small scratches from SP and MD doesn't surprise me anymore but this is new....;;)
It's rainning here...sorry for the deem lighting/photo;; but it should be apparent enough. I initially thought it was some kind of lint or something..then I thought it was pen mark.... and then I realized it was tactile...THEN I thought it was a crack ....now I am thinking something, probably piece of uncleaned residue, getting inside of the injection. There are some big ones as well as the little ones against the white alphas...;;
I know there are people with that swapped {[ }] (maybe they are being addressed first...) but maybe bit faster response from support is appreciated? (I mean I am answering them right away... but they seem to take their time...then again usually MD is quick on response...I only had two instances where I was taking to them alot and it was going nowhere for weeks..;;) I guess it really depends on.. which person you talk to..;;
Anyway I really should be doing something else... but here I am....sigh;;;; It's almost 2:00pm pacific time again hopefully I can hear from MD with some real answers;;
