is a picture of a recently received pair in the sunlight. Everyone seems to be wondering about one thing - the color. Advertised here on Massdrop was this picture, claimed to be the same boot

The color is obviously different. The boot advertised had an obvious red tint, far from the dark brown of the ones that have been received.
Here is the product picture from Chevalier's Instagram. This picture is much closer to the reviewers' pictures.
Somewhere in between the image posted here on Massdrop and Chevalier's Instagram, there was some color enhancement, and the boots that have arrived are a far cry from the ones advertised.
All of the official pictures from Chevalier seem to be the correct brown color. A color I am happy with.

There is a slight tint of red as is common with CXL, but Massdrop's pictures are much more enhanced and make the color much more unique. The actual color of the boots is closer to a pair I already have, and I probably wouldn't have bought these if I knew that were the case.
