How does the ink work in these pens? What is the method of refill? Is there some kind of cartridge or proprietary refill needed?

curtis.f1Per the description, it "Accepts Parker-style refills" which are widely available.

curtis.f1Like @Gfyss mentioned, the Parker-style refills that this pen uses are widely available from several different brands. To refill the pen, just unscrew the barrel section by twisting it counterclockwise.
