I just got my pen and had it inked up. Unfortunately the pen started leaking ink from the ring between the section and the nib. Yes, it's the spinning ring. Do I have a faulty pen? Have contacted Conklin and am awaiting their reply.

SlamfunkHey @Slamfunk,
I'm sorry to hear that, I think @oggypop and @Young have a similar issue but without the leak.
Our experience with Conklin service and repair has been positive, please post an update when you hear something back from them so we know if you've had the same kind of response.
SlamfunkFor @oggypop, @Slamfunk, @Young and any member whose pen had a "spinning" ring:
Yafa has great service for all of their brands, including Conklin, and stands behind this product. They will be happy to repair or exchange any defective pens, and you should expect an email from our Customer Support team with instructions in the next day or so.
In addition, they have offered to replace the spoiled inks and gift boxes for @Slamfunk. You don't need to return anything, just expect a package from them sometime in January.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but glad we could resolve this quickly and easily. It's a pleasure to work with vendors like Yafa who go the extra mile for the writing community.
If any other members have issues in the future, the repair form can be downloaded here:

JonasHeinemanThanks Jonas, the spoiled inks and gift boxes should go to mareoftenbrae, not me.
SlamfunkGreat catch, thank you for pointing that out. We'll send that out soon, @mareoftenebrae!
