I have this oven/fryer and there are a few things you should know first. Biggest thing is that the temperatures listed on recipes need to be adjusted down about 10-20 degrees. If using convection setting go about 25 degrees down on the dial. When you use the timer knob there is a built in 4 to 5 minutes that is the oven preheating. So if you set the timer for 20 minutes it will be about 25 minutes before the timer/oven stops. You don’t preheat this oven, just set temp/method/time and put item in. The air fry works great, but get a pump spray bottle you can put olive oil or similar in and lightly spray the top of the food to get a nice crisp.
