I would be very wary of this company as I purchased a macropad from them and VIA nor QMK recognize the device properly and apparently, they don't give a shit. No support and "programmable" was a straight-out lie. I now own a weird switch tester that can't be returned.
flipsurveysConnect your pad to pc and try http://192.168.7.1/. It looks like it might be using the GP-2040CE chip, so try searching it and following documentation.
flipsurveysLooks like you only tried the url I provided and did not do any more searching on your own.
Here is the documentation for GP-2040CE: https://gp2040-ce.info/Here is the documentation for accessing the web configurator: https://gp2040-ce.info/web-configurator/
S2 button is usually the start button, keep pressing on it as you connect your controller to the PC. Access the web configurator url and see if it connects.
flipsurveysTo clear up the confusion. Bipolarbear528 is referring to the product on this page. The macropad you bought is not likely running on the GP-2040CE chip (a popular chip for fighting game style controllers). The info they provided is accurate for those.
As far as your macropad, I’ve bought a few from DOIO and they don’t often have “out-of-the-box” support for VIA/QMK, you need to find the JSON layout and then you can side-load that into the configurator of your choosing (generally speaking). So, it takes a little extra work, but they are compatible and customizable.
PharrukeSure. I'm aware. If you know where to find that JSON file please let me know...I haven't found one that's compatible yet. As far as the other point...yea, I realize that these products are different, I'm just pissed and throwing shit at DOIO (at every chance) since they won't get back to me OR let me return the product. Hmmm! Bunch of stinking liars.
