Vendors that have retail agreements with Wizards of the Coast and distributors get their best prices on the product they get directly from WotC. However, they only get a limited allocation on releases from them. In order to get more product, they have to work with distributors that charge higher prices.
This means that the vendor actually has to pay more on boxes that exceed their allocation, sort of the exact opposite of a bulk discount.
These are the lowest prices available on these for us at this point, but the prices tend to fall throughout the life of the set and we'll definitely update our pricing to reflect that as it happens.
