With the affects COVID-19 has had on manufacturing and shipping around the world, what is the status of this drop? Will this still ship out to us in early April or will that be delayed because of supply chain disruptions? I have no problem waiting, but I do want to know whether this drop's shipping date will be delayed because of circumstances outside of the Drop's control.

Tbrad425From a reply to this same question back in November, Dan Durston said to his knowledge it is still on track to ship in April. Granted, he's not really involved in the production side of things.
It is disheartening to see such scant communication from Drop about the status of this. It's been almost 6 months of waiting for this pack. The least they could have done was keep us updated and informed of production and shipping. I don't have a problem with delays as long as they are communicated in a timely fashion. I still have the expectation of this bag shipping the first week of April, but will not be surprised if it fails to ship at that time.

Tower_GuyDrop normally doesn't provide a lot of updates along the way, although I agree it would be reassuring and appreciated if they did. With the 1P last year there was nothing until a notice 1 week before it arrived (a few weeks early), and now with the X-Mid 2P there was nothing until it just started shipping to customers this week (1.5 months early). So I wouldn't take no news as bad news.
I have seen Drop issue notices where is a delay (for whatever reason) and we haven't seen that, so my best guess at this point is that it is roughly on track to ship out on time (e.g. early April). Of course it would be nice if Drop confirmed that. I'm going to be emailing them in the next couple days so I'll ask about that and report back if I hear anything.
