The foam's fit in the case is perfect.
The overall fit is cut perfectly. It's just puffy enough that you have to compress the foam a little bit in order to screw the case down. This ensures that the foam's dampening power is maximized. The thing I appreciate the most is that this foam kit makes the keyboard feel unbelievably solid with zero feeling of any kind of looseness. It is now a very firm feeling keyboard. If you have a V1 keyboard and want to dampen the sound you would be doing yourself the biggest favor by installing this kit. Absolutely positively highly recommended. I would also recommend putting a small piece of electrical tape between the four metal plates that attach to the removable feet and the bottom case plate to keep the two pieces of metal from rattling against each other.

Does what you want it to do
I recently got the Drop Alt keyboard and instantly realized that it needs a lot of foam to get the most out of it. I got this kit, and it had basically every type of foam you need to fill your Alt. it makes a huge difference in the sound, and since the Alt is not gasket mounted, you can fill it to the brim with foam without compromising any features. Overall, it's a decent kit, but maybe a little expensive.

Game changer
The sound drastically changes and for the better. I didn't love my high profile ALT before I put the foam in, so if you're on the fence about the effort of taking apart the keyboard to install these foams, do it. You will be happy that you did and it's much easier than you would think.

Does what it's intended
Does a great job at filling the hollow parts of the keyboard with perfect cut outs for each slot and holes, does help to create a foam/marble sound out of the keyboard but cannot stop the stiff sound of the integrated plate.

Nice foam.
It fit very well and make the keyboard type experience better. I bought one to test and in the end I bought for all my others alt keyboard. This is my opinion. Some people does not see any difference.
