How much of a difference will this aluminum top case make on how the ctsm80 sounds compared to the polycarbonate top case, assuming everything else is the same?

It makes it pretty marginal difference in sound (both cases sound great). Hipyotech does a back to back comparison of the sound with the PC and metal decorative cases at about the 42 minute mark of his review.
