I wanted to buy one of the originals and now there is a new model I like even more. I'm not going to buy this because I was really hoping if they ever updated the keyboard they would add USB c 3.x pass through capabilities. With all the devices coming out and out already having 2.0 power and speed is like a slap in the face to such a nice keyboard. I am sure the keyboard is amazing and you get a lot for the price but until they get that 3.x I won't be getting one.

Dusterbudwhat types of things would you like that need usb c 3.x pass-through? I don't use it but that sounds useful. Not sure what types of requirements that'd put on Drop to build into the circuit that handles the dual usb c headers though

swirle13I personally like minimalist desk, less wires and whatnot. It could prove useful to plug in my phone for charging and data. I was thinking the power of usb c 3.x would be a larger benefit at the present time. Furthermore, some other users could use it to connect to a powered hub to have less cables running to their pc or users who have only a few usb ports. I don't build keyboards or know what they would have to do to support it, or if they have room, or if its to keep the costs down. All I am saying is as we move towards more usb c cables I could see a use cases increasing and it would be cool to see in the future.
