Hey MDs,
Not really sure where I can address this (read:vent), but this discussion thread sounds as good as place as any to try and make sense of this (maybe my case resonates with someone else out there).
So I bought keyboard and it never arrived, upon contacting support my purchase was refunded, without me asking for a refund, because there is no inventory for people who "apparently" screw up in their address.
I do wish to emphasize the "apparently" part as I've been able to get purchases delivered from multiple vendors to this address without a hitch in the past.
So after the the courier wasn't able to deliver, I was simply 'released' from the queue, instead of looking for a way of getting that keyboard to me, because "...Once a package is returned to our warehouse it is taken out of available inventory and we can not reship that package out to you because of this."
I'm not sure how to be OK with the above answer (I guess I just have to if I want this product), but I was given the option to line up in the queue again... so here I am, thanks, i guess.

francefranzIt's your lucky day actually. Usually you'd just be left out in the cold, but they just opened the drop again for another round, and it's only been a few days since you posted your comment. I have a feeling they were well aware that they were going for sale again soon. That's probably why they has no trouble telling you to just line up again.
Definitely a poor way to handle it, but at least the drop opened up again so quickly that you still haven't picked a different keyboard yet.

francefranzI kind of treat MD like a surprise gift for myself lol The items take forever to get to you, and I pretty much forget that I bought something by the time it comes. If I really want a new KB to use, I get something from elsewhere that will show up in a reasonable amount of time to use before the MD product shows up. MD is known for crappy situations like that, and I would honestly get use to it as it won't be changing anytime soon. It's a numbers game. They will put up with a handful of angry reviews and customers as long as most of the product sells. Then they will just tell people like you, sorry, pay us again and hope for the best. lol Bummer.
