I previously bought DCX Cyber (Gen 1) and on that page I had several issues with the profile as a whole, namely kitting and the spacing on certain keys. I got a discount code for DCX sets during the 12 days of Christmas, and decided to pick this up.
Upon inspection and comparison with Cyber Gen 1, the improvements in manufacturing are actually more noticeable than the pictures shared by Drop make them seem. The legending is crisp, the spacing of the text on the keys is on par or better than GMK in some instances, colors look beautiful, and the kitting pushes this and other updated DCX sets into actual GMK replacements rather than just barely inferior ABS sets. The future of DCX looks bright, and hopefully sets can make it to regional vendors for more to enjoy.
Who doesn’t love mint? It’s clearly the best ice cream flavor, so why not have keycaps to match?
the minty green color mixed with gray and a dash of purple is a great combination.
The DCX packaging is also superb, keeping each key locked in place and protected during shipping, and in the standard layout makes for easy keycap swapping. This is one set of packaging I won't get rid of as they can be used as storage trays so well.
The colorway is not as vibrant as the original Hyperfuse but it's still close enough... and if you get this during BOGO you could get like 6 sets for the price of one set of the original Hyperfuse.
The quality of the keys are good. nice and clear legends. material is good and there is a very mild texture. not slippery and not chalky. would be good if the caps were a touch thicker as they can sound a little clacky.

Overall, I think it's worth the money and so glad it's always available unlike the stupid group buys which cost an arm and a leg and take 2 years to deliver..
As with Hyperfuse colorway, it's already funky and ready to laser light show your desk. Although it's not as in-your-face as Mitolet or Cyanlet (another I want), the accents and such really make up a really fun colorway.
As usual, the legends are crisp and clean while the colors are soothing and exciting at the same time. This keycaps set can be paired with "almost" any board out there but I decided to pair it with my CannonKeys Bakeneko60 R1 in Aqua and it hit successfully.
I saw the accent kit and I knew this had to come with it to further dig into that vibe and I've never looked back.
ThocksOnLifeI actually really appreciate you posting this review, not just the content of it but specifically your 2 photo's of this keycap set on your Bakeneko look fresh. (I'm really curious what camera/iPhone version you used to take those now haha, but not only do they makes the modifiers look nice and charcoal Greyish in contrast to the alpha's but the green and purples pop 👌....so thank you!)
I saw someone else's review below here that has a photo of this set on their 75% first, and It looks so washed out and pale compared to your pics. It made the modifiers look like they were blending in with the alphas..so thank God I kept scrolling and saw yours. since all of these zoomed out overhead view photos of multiple people's keycap reviews do nothing positive for the people interested in how the keycaps look.
PhlookeThank you, I'm super glad! Im using a Pixel 7 Pro and whenever I take a photo like this that is showcasing colors for this purpose, I edit the photo's color until it matches exactly what I'm seeing in front of me; no fudging the saturation here.
These are an excellent sent and highly one of my favs of all time.
I generally avoid BOW, WOB, beige or grey sets because I find them boring.
But Hyperfuse keeps it interesting with purple legends and unexpected pops of light cyan on the mods, against a darker shade of grey for contrast. The overall look is fresh, and would look great on silver-toned boards, or against either of the accent colors, shades of purple or blue.
DCX quality is top-notch, as I’ve come to expect. Would recommend.
The hyperfuse colorway is pretty much what I expected it to be. The color-matching process is great. DCX keycap is always shinier than I'd like, but a legend is awesome since I like thinner typography. However, I wish that DCX came with a novelties set too.
