I definitely was sleeping on DCX keycaps. Since I couldn't find a similar gmk set, I decided to give them a try for my orange theme keyboard. Compared to gmk, the kerning on the letters could be better. Its hardly noticeable when typing or gaming. They feel a bit smoother than gmk sets, and I do like the keycap profile, no problems switching from cherry to dcx. The amount of options for the price, make this a good set worth the money. I am excited to see the other dcx options that come out in the future, and maybe some options for icon mods. I will be looking out if these keycaps shine in the future.
These are nice keycaps in daylight. In a darkened room (where I use my pc) if I have the leds on you can see how badly the light bleeds through the legends. The alphas are basically see-through and the modifiers look pretty bad. This does not happen with my GMK sets, overall this is disappointing and thus not a true alternative. I almost wonder if I got a defective set, I don't see this mentioned really.
The Skiidata DCX keycap goes really well with the CSTM65.
I installed the Skiidata DCX keycap set on my CSTM65 with a black metal case, and it looks fantastic. Personally, I’m a fan of the DCX profile, so I’m even more satisfied. Both the color and sound are very pleasing.
I've owned Skiidata sets in MT3 before (Always wanted SA) and was pretty impressed. THIS SET... next level. The muted black of the keycaps is just different enough to be eye-catching against a black keyboard, and the orange is clean, pops well, and looks so nice on every backdrop. Super super great set.
Here it is on my Weikav Record Alice V2. One of my fav new keyboards.
