Really great switches, some of my favorites
Compared to the other drop pandas, the X are heavier, and that's the most important thing to me.

Great to type on if lubed, but the failure rate is unacceptable
I've had these for a couple years now -- they were okay dry, better than the stock switches I had in my Drop Ctrl Tenless (if you have v1 of this board, make sure you plug it into USB 3.0 as 2.0 doesn't supply enough power and results in random disconnecting). After lubing, they have a great tactile feel, but 9 of the switches have failed with time; that's about a 10% failure rate, which is crazy for something that's supposed to be high-end. I would rather use my logitech membrane keyboard that has never failed than have keys randomly double-typing while I'm trying to program. This was my first mechanical keyboard, and it has soured the experience entirely. Mechanical keyboards are a luxury item, but luxury is laughable when it's outperformed by a bottomshelf alternative.

They are good but to get the most
These are good switches. However, to get the most out of them, I think you have to lube them.

Decent factory lubed, amazing after lubing
Was a bit skeptical about the Holy Panda X at first, but turned out really great. It was solid factory lubed, but I would highly suggest lubing it yourself (or getting the hand lubed). Lubed just stems using krytox 205, and springs using krytox 105. Really stable and little to no spring/scratchy sound. Has a really nice crunchy sound (with my build) that fits my preferences, and has a really unique/comfotable typing feel. Would highly recommend!

Great feeling switch, poor longevity
The switch works and feels great right out of the box. Sound and tension for key presses is snappy and feels good while typing/gaming. It may be a little firmer of a feel compared to what others may be used to. UPDATE (1-year use): I've had to switch out a number of switches on specific keys because they've started to double press or not register the key press at all. It's not the keyboard or the board because once I switch back to a different brand of switch the key works fine and consistent. Thus, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend these switches based on their longevity.

Great switches
Bought this switches as my first tactile switches. I’m used to using linear, but this are so nice. Paired then with the zoom 75v3 and they sound like marbles

Don't buy. They'll fail
I've bought a lot of gear over the year from Massdrop, and always hhad (hey look, a double press) pretty good experiences with them. This wasn't one. The switches feel great and sound lovely; they've also been failing pretty consistently since I've bought them. Some switches stop responding, some have double types, sometimes they're helped if I clean them, sometimes not. I've switched back to the keyboard I installed them in, and after a few months of fuller use, they're dropping like flies. My expectation with Drop was always that they'd make things right, too, so I didn't sweat it. I'd use them as best I could until they were unworkable. But now customer service is refusing to replace them as they're out of warranty (turns out if they doesn't specify a warranty, there's a strict 1 year warranty, even on products they've made). I think it's worth making it clear: don't expect Massdrop to make things right, even if their product is failing, even if it's a product they designed and built. I won't take a risk with their products in the future.

Love the switches!
I tried many tactile switches, and these feel the best so far. I will probably use it for all my builds!
