I bought the magenta accents to add a splash of color to my Susuwatari set. (I can't use any of the more colorful MT3 sets, since none of them provide full coverage for my boards.)
The pink color is great, and just what I expected after seeing other buyers' photos. Nowhere near the renders, but since I actually wanted something more pink than purple, this was perfect. They do just what I hoped, which was to liven up an otherwise dark grey board. I really do think Drop should position these more as universal MT3 accent kits sold on their own; they'd work great with many of the other MT3 sets.
I haven't noticed any issues with the legends. But I haven't been able to see any problems in the photos other people have posted, either. Maybe I'm just not that discerning when it comes to inconsistencies with character thickness. But to me, these are on par with the other MT3 sets I've owned, and my GMK and SA sets.
The packaging is kind of adorable. I really love the vintage IBM box, even if it doesn't really matter to me whether they come in bags or fancy boxes.
The shipping experience was bad, as usual. I've been buying more Drop sets off eBay and Mechmarket lately, because I trust unvetted strangers more than FedEx. They scheduled and missed three separate delivery dates, while my package sat in the same warehouse without moving for days. But I do love these now that they're finally here.
