I read them somewhere that XDA odd spacebar is "real" spacebar. I mean the convex one like usual 6.25u / 7u. With said statement, will the 2u on Planck have convex profile or just usual concave like 1u? And will the bars on the the other bars kit have convex profile? @MiTo

JebbraI'm pretty sure Odd Bars and Spacebars are usual convex. On the other hand, the Mini bars were designed to be just normal concave like 1u keycaps.

But if you're saying they're NOT, then I want to remove them. Is it necessary to double check, or are you sure they are concave?

RominroninI am requesting regular 2u keycaps within the manufacturer, if they can deliver the 2u keycaps from that kit with convexity or not that's something I'm still waiting for confirmation.
I recommend you to keep the kit in your order, better then have no 2u at all. I know you want convex, but this adds an extra degree of complexity to the whole group buy's logistics and I'm doing what I can to deliver.

MiToThanks for the quick reply @MiTo. Personally I want 2.25u and 2.75u with convex top - not the 2u size (though others are interested in this size).

MiToCheers, MiTo. I need or we need double confirmation on this too. It's causing a little confusion here. I am personally hoping/want and pretty sure the others are, that the Mini Bars kit are all convex; and not concave.
If they were concave, I guess you could of just combined them into the Blanks kit.

JebbraIt's actually a 1.75u keycap in the photo that look convex. You can checkout the photos here.

I'm not entirely sure a convex 2u even exists in XDA. It's something we can make a request but that doesn't mean the manufacture will be capable of doing it.

ViraCheck Yanbo's reply, we will try to work this out with the manufacturer but for know we are doing concave keycaps on the Mini Bars/Blanks, makes sense?

Is their a case for the rk61?

Is there a case that can work for my wired rk61? I been looking for a case that can fit it and I can’t seem to find one. My rk61 has 4 screws and the screws are on the back of the case. I’m looking for an aluminum case and was wondering if drop has one? If there is a custom kind I can get that would be great. I know there is the rk61 pro but I ain’t gonna buy it since it’s like buying a whole new keyboard. If anyone can lmk if their is a aluminum case that can work for my keyboard that would be great!

Drop Mech Keys Meetup Recap - Thanks for Visiting!

As you may have seen, we just hosted our first meetup in quite a while here at Drop HQ (Corsair HQ, but they seem to like us enough :) )! It was a blast to get to meet so many enthusiasts local to the bay area—it had been 10 years since I was last hanging out with keyboard nerds in the bay, at KeyCon 2014. We had a great time hosting everyone at the offices, checking out all the very nice boards y'all brought, and sharing some of our own projects/spaces! I knew it would be fun to host in the Game Room when I first saw it in person, but seeing it come to fruition was still so cool. Alright, I'll stop blabbering on now. xD Picture time! Drop CTRL double "t" char and turning off after 3 yrs

Hi all, I bought a Drop CTRL in 2021. I liked that it was a well-rounded mechanical keyboard that "just worked" without having to do a bunch of customization (I just want a bulletproof keyboard that feels and looks good). It has been a fantastic keyboard, I especially like how heavy it is and the key weight is perfect for me. However, in the last 8mo it has started double inputting the "t" key and now it randomly will stop inputting anything (but the lights stay on) or it turns off completely (no lights, no input). I normally plug it into a powered hub but I tried plugging it directly into my computer to see if the problem persists and it does. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this or where to start diagnosing? I type all day long so I don't have a lot of ability for down time.
