It won't lay flat
I'm not sure if this is the case for all of them but I've had mine being flattened on the edges for weeks and it still curls up.

Good for what you pay for
I only have experienced two desk mats before this, and now that I have tried it I really like. Its nice and thick enough and isn't the worse for my mouse when using it. Overall, if you need a solid color deskmat or don't mind the design, this is for you.

Good customer service experience but bad product
I could not get the edges to uncurl. The quality of the product seems to be there, but the QA isn't. This is the replacement item I received after an otherwise pleasant experience with customer service. But that's where the pleasant experience stops.
They didn't even have the courtesy to check to see if the replacement they were sending (after a detailed recount of the issues I had with the first) was in good condition, let alone in worse condition...That's right, the replacement I received is in worse condition in regards to the edge curl. And after over a week of trying every trick in the book to uncurl the edges of the first item, I am out of patience to spend more time trying to simply get a flat desk mat. So, 1-star review.
