To understand the appeal of MT3 profile, you have to understand its history. Many old computer terminals were constructed with a slanted switch layout from front to back. Because of that slant, the keycaps sat at an angle atop the switches. MT3 profile is a reimagination of that unique slanted build, but optimized for modern keyboards. Based on iconic IBM beamspring terminals of the 1970s, it’s sculpted with a prominent curve that extends across each row. On top of that, MT3 features scooped keys to help orient your fingers on the keyboard.
