South-facing RGB on the Keychron V10, so these caps are useless as shine-through. Pretty, but useless. I'm not mad at the $15 price tag. I'll keep them and maybe use them on a new board someday. Sigh. Maybe I'll try getting bottom-printed shine through caps or pudding caps to enjoy the RGB features on my board.
Not the product's fault, just mine. I like the texture of them though.
The keycap walls seemed a bit thin to me. In my opinion the sound and feel would have been a bit nicer if the keycap walls were just a bit thicker. But all-in-all not a bad set of keycaps.
With the key caps I received you can't really see the backlight. Bad enough that I can barely even read the legend at all while my keyboard is fully lit up. My base keycaps with white lettering is far better and easier to read than these while the backlighting is on. I bought them when they were on sale so I at least didn't spend a lot of money on something I won't even be able to use. Can't recommend based on how hard it is to see the legends.
Stencil supports cut backlight, but nice to type on
I was really disappointed when I noticed that instead of being fully supported by the translucent material like my OEM keycaps are, these have little opaque supports for any letter with a closed-off section, which blocks the backlight from shining through that part. It's not extremely noticeable unless you're looking directly one of those letters but that wasn't made obvious when buying.
The color looks quite good with the black keys on my keyboard and the texture is kinda nice, though I imagine they'll wear down a bit like the old ones did. Overall they're pretty nice to type on.
